Silver Class

Wednesday morning homework and tutoring has finished for the year.  Due to the success of this program we intend to continue with this next year.  We hope that the students and parents have found the time useful.

Due to traffic concerns the camp coordinator has asked us to ensure the bus departs Eatons Hill State School by 6.30am.  If students can arrive at the front of the school near the flag poles by 6am to pack up the bus it would be greatly appreciated.

Just a reminder that the photos for the Yr7 Graduation PowerPoint are now due.  The photos are shown on the Graduation night and should include one of when they were a toddler or just starting school and another of them today.  I do allow the students to have up to 4 photos if they want.

The class photos will be on this Friday, 7th August, at 10.45am.

An assortment of materials for constructing a toy car is required for a technology lesson next week.  If you could send in any tissue boxes, cardboard cereal boxes (small), cardboard tubes, wheels off old toys, skewers, polystyrene foam, reels, spools, lids from jars etc it would be greatly appreciated.

The interviews for Silver Class start on Monday, 3oth March.  Attached is a timetable to let people know when their times are.

Silver is planning a camp to Moreton Island in term 4, 2nd – 6th November.  The cost of the camp will be approximately $225.  Further information on the camp can be found at www.moretonexperience.com .

The parent information night is on Wednesday, 11th February at 6.00pm in the Silver Classroom.
